Considering how it's tropical, super humid, and HOT, and that river is nice and cool... AND unless you know water - and things to look out for, those pools look lovely and cool and deep..... No wonder people are so tempted to go for a swim on a hot day...... AND the fresh water tropical rivers in Queensland, up in the mountains where the salt water crocodiles are not, are so lovely clean and fresh.....

I'd be tempted to be dressed into a full safety harness - and ropes - tied to a big tree, and oxygen tanks and some diving gear, to be lowered slowly down into the holes for a look.... and maybe roll some big rocks in there to block up the human trapping passages etc... Make them SAFE (r).

Have you seen the other videos I have posted on "The Strid" - it's a nice wide little river, that suddenly flows sidewards through a heap of rocks - it gets very deep, and most people who go in, never get out....
