Having split and burned firewood exclusively for heat for 21 years, (my early 30's to early 50's), I can attest this is the fuckin truth.

There was a jump cut and the 2nd piece of wood looks different to the first so I not sure what happened also his axe was bouncing hard after each impact good thing he kept it under control. He has some more videos that are interesting and others that are meh I will see if I can find some more and splitting wood and chopping wood is more therapeutic than talking.
