Recently with the emergence of Chat GPT there have been murmurings of potental use on the dating market for men but is this something that would actually change the dynamics of the mating crisis or something niche that will just cater to those already in the niche?

MSTOWs copin' HARD on this one.
AI waifus aside, these predictions almost never come true, and they've been made for millennia.
It used to be said we'd only have a several hour work week because we'd have machines do our work for us. We're now working more than ever.
It used to be said AI and robots would automate jobs no one wanted to do so we could just paint and tell stories all day. Now, we design and maintain these things so they can pursue artistic endeavors for us.
It used to be said that women's liberation from marriage would allow them to attain better mates and raise better families. Now, the family is dead and we live in a matriarchy.
I could go on.
A small percentage of men might get some mild pleasure from AI, but most won't even know it's there. I doubt even most incels would keep interacting with AI sex waifus beyond the age of 25. Men are hardwired to their core to obsess over and, often, even worship women, no matter how ugly, fat, dumb, or treacherous they are. They take pride in being the preying mantis and will shame you for not doing so yourself.
The argument has no legs. AI chat bots and waifus serve a particular purpose that is currently not being served to a specific popular population. Is it perfect? No. But it’s something. Many men were told a slew of lies growing up and the most pernicious is ‘ there is someone for everyone’. Men are seeing now this adage is patently false. This is why many are getting waifus.
We all need to cope sometimes. In a harmless way.
