Alligator adopts Star Wars ‘Imperial March’ as his theme tune

If you’re an alligator, you’re not going to choose something wibbly and heartfelt to be your theme tune. You wouldn’t see a gator strutting out to Celine Dion, for example, but the Imperial March from Star Wars? That’s something your average gator can get behind. Especially one – the appropriately named Darth Gator (who was probably named after this revelation, to be fair) – at a park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As handler Paul Bedard plays the evil music on his phone, Darth Gator gets out of the pool in an evil way, and begins his evil march towards the fish Bedard is holding, impressively in time with the music.

We’re not sure if Darth Gator has eaten any actual Star Wars fans, but the ones who simp for Rey probably taste the best, we’re just saying.
