That's why it's called makeup. Women don't actually look as they present, they're just making shit up. Another thing I realized some years back is "beer goggles" - as we used to say in the days before the Internet took off - wasn't the right explanation: it was the makeup. Men who took women home from a party/bar/club then woke up next to a wildebeest in the morning thinking "WTF!? I've gotta stop fucking drinking!" The alcohol may have helped, but it was the makeup all along... and still is. There's a quote that I want to stick in here but I can't find it. I think it's attributed to William Butler Yeats but I don't recall and can't find it like the quote has been memory-holed off the Internet (or Yeated, heh.) It goes along the lines of women's most mortal enemy being the truth as women and the truth are opposite in nature.
