The Ruger Mini-14 is a classic American rifle. The AC556 select fire rifle is one of the more iconic rifles of the 80's thanks to a similar rifle being used in the then popular television series the A-Team. The Samson stock is still available and Ruger still makes the rifle so you can assemble your own A-Team look-alike rifle.

This folding stock model is a good short to intermediate range rifle.
I prefer the heavy barrelled 26" sniping barrels, for pin point accuracy out to very long ranges - but for short range and highly portable and fast maneuvering - this is pretty fucking good.

I'm going to have to look into one of these! If it was good enough for Face, it's good enough for me!

@bigintol03: Australian jokes: What do you call an abbo with a car? A thief. What do you call an abbo with a shot gun? Sir.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Pretty much the same thing here, just replace abbo with nigger!

Guns are such an interesting topic.... and like all nit picking fastidious shits - you carry a 0.22 long rifle - because it's light and for shooting rabbits etc.. and a 0.308 / 0.45 / etc., for LARGE game.... and a 12 Gauge for cornholios of of ducks and blubbers of pro-abortion feminists..... But all of this is just too much shit to cart around everywhere.... BUT if you can really shoot, this gun looks to be a good all round rifle that is compact, small, portable, reasonably light, and if you living off the land and your making each shot count, an appropriate caliber that covers MOST of the game your likely to come across and can cook and eat and preserve, is an ideal thing to have.

I would like to actually have a small BSA single shot bolt action 0.22 rifle with a good scope on it - or decent iron sights... because they weigh fuck all and with a single shot, you have to make each shot count.... it's more on the skill of the hunter than a large capacity magazine.
