Amphoras Brilliant Practical Design! The Known Uses, Plus A New Idea!

I never understood why people were making bottles - even huge bottles, that had no flat bottom..... for centuries... I thought Amphora's were a totally idiotic idea.... BUT smart people tend to really think things through, and they only tend to do things for a good reason........ AND squillons of people have been making and using squillions of amphora, over squillions of centuries, AND here in this video, they listed their GOOD REASONS.... And I am a lot less ignorant today, than I was yesterday. As a raging drunkard though, I still find great difficulty in the idea of drinking myself to death, with a 4 gallon jug of wine that falls over and lays on it's side, spilling almost all of the BOOZE.... ASIDE from this, these are excellent containers and they have many good ideas in their mostly sober designs.
