Anti-government rally held in Rome against cuts to public health

The Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL) and the USB Union members marched in Rome to denounce Giorgia Meloni’s government and the recent cuts in funding for Italian public health.

Thousands rallied with flags, banners and signs, bearing slogans such as ‘We demand decent salaries #10istheminimum,’ ‘24% fewer beds in public facilities. Health is a fundamental right,’ and ‘the people are hungry.’
