Are Ads On Your Blog Generally Frowned Upon?

In this video I respond to an email asking about whether or not having ads on your blog is good or bad. I explain that unless you are making significant conversions, you'd be better off without the ads. A good way to way judge this is if you have 500 daily visitors, then you might want to have ads on your blog.
