Yeah this is what it means when it is said, "They are out for blood". The crowd is absolutely going to kill them. In the general melee, notice that as the cops get closer to their compound, and they take more and more hits and damage, and as the crowd closes in, they are no longer throwing rocks AT "the police", they have started to throw the rocks at their heads.... They ARE totally trying to kill them. The crowd is blood thirsty.

I guess they did not have proper training. I think long ago during roman times how they used shields. Reminds me long ago being kicked out of a tim hortons so rcmp police could congregate at 2 am.

I have NO concrete idea.... but the voices of the undead make me think, Algeria or Greece circa 1977 - 1988 - Probably entirely wrong.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: There are CUES in the video though, the language, the fashion of the time and location, The police uniform style and type, the shield type they were using - probably superseded after this event, the tree types and age, if relevant screen shots were made, then they MIGHT be able to be fixed up and some detail could be pulled out of them.... signs, lettering, specific details that run for moments or only in a few frames etc... The language is not familiar to me though.... But you could study it and send samples to different ethinic societies and or look up PRE internet riots.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: And you get words, "Agasaro" "Parafundo" - at 20 seconds the word for police on the shields, is POLIC - which is Espanole, The rolling R in "Arrrubuto", And I think at around the 2-5 second mark is some very old cream coloured cast iron street side furniture - possibly an old gas light now sign post.
