What a magnificent machine....
We need to compose a full Auslander Raus song that can be sung by a men's chorus for this.
Can anyone translate / transcribe between english and german for this? Contact me and we can do it.

You need a sound system with deep bass and a sub woofer...
The small laptop speakers just cannot go the low frequencies..

This organ - with this player - in this building - it really works....

Look at how nice the knobs are on the stops, with the white enamelled lables. Without references to pulling on ones knobs (?) they are just seriously lovely knobs... sort of like some ancient type writer keys and chess pieces.... Created by a Master Knob Maker for the Master Knob Pullers... Fuck they are nice pieces of work.

I just figured out why there is this HUGE wooden polished, enamelled, and waxed, plain bench seat in front of the organ... It's a part of the mechanisim of playing it....

i find this towering and amazing sound, that song i swear i have heard it before and it's so, i don't even know how to describe it, but i love it, like it's both creepy and beautiful to listen to, i had another word in mind but i lost it when i started writing.

Yeah it's not actually Auslander Raus, it's something else entirely, but the boppy tune was used for that song...

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: i don't really care about the esthetics to be honest, i'm more impressed by the sound and quality of the sound from the pipes.

@KEEPER: I'd like to sit there and pull on all the knobs.. Do you have a wood lathe? Ever done screen printed enamelling? Wood working etc? There is a real art to making a good knob, and these are just fucking lovely knobs.... I feel a high degree of arousal coming on.... This whole machine is LOVELY.

@KEEPER: Do you have any church / concert organs like this that you can go visit? AND get a personal guided tour of? It might even be worth paying for 1/2 an hour of it. These are really incredible. AND except for the combusting and cryogenics, there is not a lot of difference between this and a space shuttle... actually....

@KEEPER: Go the whole hog... spend half a day there and ask them to show you how all the bits work... get running demonstrations.

@KEEPER: And if you occassionally say, "Oooo" in a high pitched gay voice, like Mr Humphries, "This is just like the space shuttle engines - only much better", "The people who created this must have been incredibly clever" etc.

@KEEPER: Well if you operate with all the mystique, wit and insighful clever commentary of Mr Humphries... You might get the really excellent guided tour... Absolutely worth it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo5awtfvfpw Bring a box of your favourite T bags and some nice English celery, cucumber and Wendsly Dale cheese sandwiches.

These are incredible machines.... I got to spend a little bit of time with a man from France who services and makes parts for them.....

Oooooooo guided tour.......

Fantastic.

One of the things I would like to do is to play at least ONE really good song on one of them, at least once in my life time....
