BARBIE: It Was Feminism That Told Women “No, You Are Not Enough, You Need To Do More | MCOTD #35

The Barbie movie was basically the epitome of what a feminist thinks the world is like. Men don’t ask women to always be beautiful and perfect. That’s what social media (which is adored by women) and women are doing, not men. Men are not asking women to both be career women and also caretakers. Men have only ever wanted for a wife to come home to and to provide for so she doesn’t have to struggle outside of the home. Men have never told women that everything they do will never be good enough. Men have told women that their role as wives and mothers is beautiful and necessary and that all those careers and money don’t matter to them. Men have always thought that women were enough as they were. It was feminism that told women “No, you are not enough, you need to do more.” No one has hurt modern women than other modern women.
