By the way the best my dad could do for transport at Christmas was a 1952 Austin A40 Countrynam Van with windows down the side! and an old benchg seat in the back lol! loved that old van. and it was bright blue as well like the ad. Hello what's that? My eyes have gone all wet, I'm I ill! lol! That hasn't happened for many a decade now!
I'm Anti Corporate, but Chevy, thank you for this and using a Classic ?car not a modern one. I do remember Christmases like this with the whole family until I was 14 in 1970 and Mum died in the holiday's. today I'm ready for another Christmas alone, I may just as well been in that old lady's head, that's how it feels. But enough doom memory, Guy's what ever you situation and I know It's a little early yet. But You ALL have the best Christmas you can even alone, and thanks Solo Man for showing this Ad, I'm gonna save it and add it to my Christmas watching every year. god bless you all though I suspect there isn't a God or he abandoned us a long time ago! Peace and love gentlemen to ALL.
Thanks for posting this brother, you're right, this is one of the best Christmas commercials I've seen in a very long time! Reminds me of the ones that I used to see back in the 80's when I was a kid!
ya, this commercial really put the human factor in it.. much like the old American movies did.. I saw an old western movie Friday.. it was all about people and character.. it made sense and was predictable..
i saw godzilla minus one..and it hit all my heart spots even a tear or two..just like this chevy commercial..we need family values badly..wake up women..be a woman again.
@SoloMan Zone: @JohnCoolAmerica: sure Godzilla is usually family oriented. I have the 2014 Godzilla.. and as I recall The father was proven right to his son who had doubts.. I have an old one where aliens women abduct children and were going to eat their brains . and but the flying turtle guy alwqays protects children in danger and sure enough he showed up in outer space to help the children against the alien cannibals.. heh..
I could find that flying turtle movie heheh.. it's an old one.. people were wondering what happened to the children as they had disappeared.. then they had this story about being saved by the flying turtle guy//.. noone bvelieved them except for like one good guy .. lol
@SoloMan Zone: naw, they tried to get everyone on drugs and most of my old buddies were regular users.. I broke away from all of them as soon as I could.. shit.. kids were living in the woods in 1981.. 1982.. 1983 .. good old pos 20% interest rates anti-American reagan.. here have a few beers.. and cops on every corner.. arresting America's youth.. I learn fast.. and tehy could not tear me down once I had it figured out.. they still try.. even get tickets for no seat belts.. so I tint my windows..
Anyone could buy an ounce of weed for 15 bucks.. commercial colombian. in like 1975.. today comparable weed is called mexican.. that is really the only stuff I would smoke. .lol. .dont need no super star marijuana.. heheh
