Border agent filmed destroying fence to allow migrants in

A Texas Border Patrol agent was filmed dismantling a razor-wire fence in order to let illegal migrants through, sparking condemnation from everyone who understands what the word ‘border’ means.

The wire fence had been set up on private property in Eagle Pass to function not only as a border for the property, but also as a makeshift US-Mexico border, as the property backs onto the Rio Grande. The owner of said property could do nothing but film as a Border Patrol agent cut through the fence to allow through a group of illegal migrants, who had mere seconds previously been trafficked over the Rio Grande by boat.

This, apparently, all in accordance with US law, on the grounds that, as the migrants technically entered the US before reaching the fence, they were subject to US immigration law, and needed to be processed. As there was no other way to reach them, the fence needed to be cut. If that sounds mental, that’s because it is.
