BRIDE GETS ABDUCTED BY GROOM IN FRONT OF APARTMENT... (RUSSIA, ST. PETERSBURG)
An admirer of national traditions repeatedly abducted the bride in St. Petersburg, but if for the first time he escaped with verbal suggestion, now he has every chance of becoming a defendant in a criminal case. A surveillance camera recorded the groom and his assistants.
The abduction took place at about 2:20 p.m. on April 22 at Telman Street. The frames show how three young people jump out of a car approaching the entrance, two of whom hold the girl’s mother, and the third pushes her lover into the car. After that, the attackers leave.
A few hours later, the 28-year-old kidnapper and his bride were detained in Tikhvin. As it turned out, he had already encroached on the freedom of the girl he liked in February of this year. Then her parents also turned to the police, but the “victim” herself refused claims. This time, as noted in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the groom may face real imprisonment, as his actions can be interpreted as "a crime against the freedom, honor and dignity of the person."
