My Old Man was a Farm Boy who was as cynical as all fuck....
He was just black or white....
And they - he and his family members, used dowsing to find water etc...
He was totally - "this is real, this works".
And he was as humorless as Stalin about it as well.
"The rod would dip down, and he would say, "20 feet down, you will find water"".
And when I asked him what would happen if you tried to stop the rod from dipping, he said, "It would just about break your wrists".
My old man was an absolutist about this issue and many others....
So when he said it, it was so.
