Cattle hauler's truck catches fire, cows stop traffic on Florida’s Turnpike

A roadway was blocked for several hours on Florida’s Turnpike, after a hauler's semi-cab caught fire near St. Cloud, south of Orlando, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The driver pulled over and released about 70 cows from the smoke and flames. Local firefighters responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.

What morons the cops and all that are........ Just roll past the cows at 10 mph / 20 Kmh... from in the outer lane - from each direction, and they will be fine....

idk... cattle are skittish. They will panic and start running. I've worked in the oilfields and seen free range cattle panic and run across the road only to slip on the concrete and fall. Besides, a load of cattle is an expensive freight. Smart Trucker; protecting the freight.
