Environmental activists smeared red paint and glued their hands on Claude Monet's painting, 'The Artist's Garden at Giverny', on display at Stockholm's National Museum. According to local media, the work of art, created by the French impressionist in 1900, was covered by a protective glass. However, the painting ‘is now being examined by the museum's curators to see if there has been any damage.’
