Done with my 5 year electrical apprenticeship and I can say flat out I've made more money on and off with work in the construction field then I ever made outside it and that's with the low tier 2-4 years bachelors mark from my wasted time in college.
College is a complete and UTTER waste of time despite making it through the entire thing without going into debt and owing no one money, still got nothing out of it.
