first of all , basketball is just like all the other "professional " sports. they are considered " Sports Entertainment" . like all entertainment , you need to fund it . the funding comes from ticket sales and TV ratings. high ratings get top paying advertisers . these women just do not want to hear that they get paid way less than the men's basketball teams because they have just a small fraction of the fans and TV ratings that the men's teams have. this is all about how many people want to watch women's sports . it's sort of like watching a three stooges episode . it's kinda of funny and kind of sad at the same time .
