Cops fatally shoot ‘terrified’ man who called for assistance after car crash

When 22-year-old Christian Glass called 911 for assistance after crashing his car into a ditch, it was clear he was distressed and in need of assistance. Appearing to be suffering from a paranoid breakdown, Glass told officers he was being followed by shadowy figures who wanted to kill him. He explained he had several non-firearm weapons in the car to defend himself against ‘skinwalkers,’ but was willing to comply fully with the officers assisting him.

What should have been a medical incident escalated when one of the officers inexplicably pulls a gun on Glass and yells at him to ‘Step out of the f—ing car now!’ This leads to officers smashing the car window while Glass screams in terror, and one of the cops is heard to call out ‘Someone tase his ass!’ Reaching for one of his knives in a panic, Glass is then shot multiple times, even though earlier radio messages had stressed that Glass was not ‘suicidal, homicidal or a great danger.’

The pathologist who carried out Glass’ autopsy said, ‘The manner of death, in my opinion, is homicide.’ An investigation has been opened into events, while Glass’ family demands prosecutors file criminal charges against the officers.
