Is everyone taking crazy pills???
we have a couple sayings around here that are:
- "A sucker is born everyday"
- "The day a sucker and a con man meets is when a business is done"
- "if there is a way, there is a sucker to fall for it" (I include marriage nowadays in this thinking).
People have been paying real money to get married in Final Fantasy 14 for years. They use the allure of a ring item that enables instant fast travel to your 'partner.' Meanwhile in Fallout 3, NV, and other games you can just fast travel. But MMOs screw you like a modern woman would. Fast travel in FF14 costs in-game currency normally lol. For no reason.
Also people getting married in WoW and other MMOs. This is nothing new.
What I want to know is how much it costs to get married in Metaverse. And does she get your digital home that cost $1 million in Earth currency?
