Deal for new political transition fails to stop anti-coup protests in Sudan

Anti-coup protesters took to the streets of Khartoum days after Sudanese political parties and the military signed a framework agreement on a new political transition. The demonstrators saw the deal as a betrayal of the core demands of the 2018-2019 uprising.
