In these demonstrations, we show the danger posed when fire comes in contact with an oxygen-rich environment. We start with a cigarette, showing how quickly it burns when oxygen is near. Then, we show cloth, and what would happen if your clothes were soaked in oxygen and then introduced to a flame. Then we create a pipe-cleaner man, put him in an oxygen-rich environment, and introduce a lit cigarette. We hope these demonstrations give you a good sense of the dangers of oxygen.

This came about as a discussion about people and the things around them, catching fire in a pure oxygen fire....
This lead to the issues around the Apollo 1 Capsule fire, and then getting the issues from training films, as "Boiler Maker Welder" apprentices, with the training films - where some people blow the dust off themselves NOT with lower pressure compressed air, but with the oxygen cutting jet, from an oxygen acetylene steel cutting torch.....
I have never seen anyone use a LIT torch to do it, but it doesn't mean that they wouldn't on a cold day......
The implication was that people saturate their overalls / coveralls fabric, with oxygen and a spark lands on them and "POOF!" up they go.
Here is the up on issues with pure oxygen.
