@GenerationLESS: Not necessarily. We have a bacteria out of South Amwrica-- the "natives" have it in their mouths and they chew stalks and shit and it converts it to alcohol, Ethanol. That bacteria was studied at OkSU and they tried to build a plant in Chicago to grow and refine it. And algae has been modified to produce octane, ie gasoline, from just sunlight.

@WMHarrison94: No. If you ever saw photos from a boiler explosion you'd understand. Technology for steam locomotives in the 1940's when they phased them out was already incredible of what they could do with 1 pound of coal and 1 pound of water. But to turn them loose on the streets where people can crash into each other, put a bullit through one, etc., is asking for mass disasters.
