Yeah - and they didn't ask me for my input...... Actually their method is good, fast and simple... But I had been aiming at pure crystal clear diamonds by vapour deposition....

I don't give a rats arse about diamonds and jewelry - Sure it's pretty and sparkly etc... I'd much rather a big bag of industrial diamonds anyday... mainly for stone cutting drills and other tools - on hard granite etc. BUT I love the idea of large flawless optical grade diamonds for OPTICAL purposes... like for windows into super duper high pressure vessels, lenses on specific optical tools like microscopes, some laser lenses and special surgical blades and many other clever things.... Anvils for making metallic hydrogen... The pressures are so high it's pushing shit up a cliff and into outerspace....
