Seeing the cannons being fired in a practical way - is good.
What I found most interesting was the sound of the incoming and ricocheting rounds, from the camera, at the targets.
The Parrot cannon was a HUGE technological leap forward in terms of accuracy, because of the rifled barrels, but their composite construction of a cast iron liner and a wrought iron jacket, led to many failures of the barrels - caused by the cracking liner.
They were declared to be unsafe to use and were removed from service.
The guns in the video, I am assuming, are replicas, in style and shape, but of a different construction material and method.

How can something that deadly also be so beautiful? (I'm talking from an engineering point of view. I was bought up around engineering that's why I love MAN STUFF! lol!
No wonder cannon were so lethal against infantry and cavalry. It blew through that metal like it wasn't there
