I speak only for myself; perhaps inaccurately; the collapse of distractions and "fun" will do more for restoring the world to it's potential. No matter how dear, nor how much we love the stories that have helped to shape us; they are the stories that have helped to shape our faults as well. The insidious plot has been in place so long, doing it's work quietly, steadily leading so many into it's maw. What we are seeing now is the same as it's always been; someone just turned the heat up a little faster. It all needs to go the scalding hot water, the flame, that made it that way and the pot. That small tiny vessel that we had perceived as the whole of our world. Now we can see so much farther in every direction... but crabs in a pot will pull each other down. People will cling to what they know and remember and will defend it and the loss of it as surely as any junkie would their fix. A "return to the old ways" is not the answer at this point, at this point there are no remaining records of those "old ways" too much change and destruction has been carried out on that truth while people stared at shapes moving as living things....
