This shit is everywhere. Those pushing the idea of getting a passport and "fleeing the country" don't know the reality of other shit holes but their own. IT'S EVERYWHERE.
I live in a very large, mostly empty country. If I flee, so to speak, it'll be into the wilderness. I'll be honest if I do that I probably won't survive the first winter but it's looking better everyday.
I know exactly what you mean. This winter I'll have my test run in the mountains. I know I'll have a hard time, but I have to do it. Sooner than later someone will come for me. Middle class white man! I'm fucked.
I am. Lacking the proper tools, being hot, not being allowed by the fucking government (climate change hoax) to do anything by using mechanical means... If I use a chainsaw and those "green" pigs know about it, they fine me to oblivion. If I ask my neighbour to use his tractor there, he won't do it, he is afraid of being robbed by the "green" pigs too. I have an electric saw on order, hopefully next week it arrives, and I go back to working my land. Two things that need to be done, shelter and running water. None of those are easy by myself. I really want to start planting there, everything takes forever, is FRUSTRATING.
You go to another country, people know you not from there, most likely will hate you, you don't speak the language, you don't know the costumes... SHTF and you're taking a great part of it.
@The Man Inside: Wow. I didn't UK government getting down like that. You can use any gas based tools? Crazy! That just proves my point about power of the government. But definitely just jumping to any foreign country isn't automatically better.
@red maple: I'm scheduled to get chicks next week. I'm finishing up my rabbit hutch right now. Hopefully I'll find rabbits pretty soon too. Hope you are able to get back to the land soon.
@The Man Inside: I have an electric saw. You are going to want multiple batteries if it runs on batteries. The batteries run down fast and take a while to recharge.
@The Man Inside: Lol. The patience pill is the hardest pill. That's true. I thought I would have had my meat production in full swing by now. But here I am. Eventually we will both get there.
@red maple: I'm not doing this because I want to. Well, I do. But because I need. I need to move my mind to a better place, and I need to make sure I have food in the future. And I can't stand these fucking neighbours anymore. This bitch next door won't let me sleep.
@red maple: everyone does. I see too much. I rather be blind and oblivious. Unfortunately I've always been like this. I see what others don't, or turn a blind eye for comfort. How can anyone ignore the fact that the PTB want them dead or in misery? HOW?
@The Man Inside: A matter of perspective. Are you running away or putting yourself in a more advantageous position? Prey runs away and then go back to grazing like nothing happened.

The difference in going to other countries is the power of the government. But stupid people are everywhere.
Are you taking a vacation from your land?
