We all know someone who will loudly proclaim that they know someone who is X...a woman who works in sewage treatment, a short man with a tall girlfriend, a wealthy woman with a poor man...as if to say that exceptions don't prove the rule, rather they are the rule. Enter the highly anomalous case of a young gentleman from Sweden, unfortunately cursed by the gods to be a sub-5 (by his own declaration, not mine), that by dint of his fame on YouTube actually found a wife, in the most unusual of cases. Many people have taken this as evidence that A) looks do not matter and B) this is something normal à la "there is someone out there for everyone". Lest we drown in platitudes alien to reality, we must look at reality in the face and see this for what it is, a HIGHLY anomalous situation with a HIGHLY anomalous result, NOT something normal or predictable by ANY stretch of the imagination.

As a logical man I dont pursue things or people that have less than one percent chance of working out in my favor.Unlike simps and manginas out there I do think and process things that are extremely important to me in life and generally just about everything I choose to spend my free time in life considering. This is coming from a 59 year old man who realizes that one day time runs out for all of us

That's exactly how I approached the whole mating thing: the probability of some positive outcome which in my particular case was in single digits. Well, I do not bet my whole life on such odds and that's why I'm a lifelong bachelor who was able to just retire ful 15 years before my "official" time ;)
