DPR troops claim control of Nikolayevka town in Donetsk region

Soldiers from the breakaway region’s army advanced some 6km, according to Russian forces, and took control of Nikolayevka town.

Valery Skorokhodov, a councilor for the DPR, was optimistic about having taken the town and the troops’ chances moving forward, saying ‘soon we will liberate the whole territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.’
