Drug bust leads to arrest of cat dressed as baby

Russian police have apprehended a suspected drug runner with an unusual accomplice. The suspect, a woman in possession of large amounts of metamfepramone, was accompanied by a cat dressed in full baby gear, including a diaper and a knitted hat. Not just a bizarre fashion statement - the woman was concealing the drugs in the cat’s clothes.
According to an Interior Ministry statement, the woman was carrying out a narcotics delivery in the Urals city of Nizhny Tagil, and to avoid suspicion she posed as a new mum taking her (rather odd looking and hairy) baby out for a walk. She was caught red-handed, on account of how her baby was obviously a cat, and now faces up to 15 years behind bars. It’s unknown if the cat will face any jail time, as he is currently refusing to answer when questioned.
