Dubai Is Everything Wrong With Society (Mirrored)

Exactly the same thing America did to the Black sharecroppers after slavery. When people don't learn from history, they're doomed to repeat it.

I think there is two industries here -

1. Is to be the processor of people for the provision of goods and services.

2. Being the people who are buying the goods and services.

The reason why I don't like the place - is because it's flat, low lying and just above sea level.

Great for a fishing village.....

Total bullshit for a city over the long term and high risk in terms of earth quakes, tsunami's etc.

AND the Sand Islands....

Sure there can be good engineering in it all....

But unless the sand is organically stabilised, because the sand is fertile, supports sea growth like weeds, rocks and fish - and even mangroves etc... I tend to think of them as low lying disasters.

Sort of gimmicks like Pokemon stickers for your kids lunch box....

3 to 5 years and they are gone.

I am not shit canning Dubai's sand islands for that... but kind of unless those things were there and have been there for a long time, they smack of being rather temporary and high maintenance.... as the sea bed and storms kind of move the sand on.....
