Well that sucks. I've heard that the super fine ausie dust can kill some vehicles.

There is a lot of advertising industry crap put forward, i.e. "Built tough for Australian Conditions" - but when you give it more than half a brain cells thought, Australia and all of it's climes and conditions, is not really anywhere different to anywhere else on this plant.... It's just advertising industry spin. This place is so dusty because there are thousands of K's of Desert and then a few hundred K's of farmlands - mostly wheat and cereal crops.... and

Cooper Pedy is sort of close enough to the center of Australia... @Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: So it is bullshit after all! Had to be Toyota that started it then. It was something about only Toyota vehicles lasting at the mining companies there. It worked too - Hilux is the most sold vehicle over here with the Ranger coming in second.

@clivemcd: Yeah I have met a few people, that said if you look after them they will last a LONG time... the same little shit box ute as mine - he said with the same engine etc., it was getting up to almost 1 million KM - until he was T boned by a guy running a stop sign...
