yeah kind of does, or possibly in star trek, i actually remember an episode where they filmed the show in a place like this back in the day. it's to bad zoning laws suck balls in the city's and you can't just build this style of home anywhere you want.

Very nice.
How many people are involved with this?

i'm not really sure, but people from all around the world are involved, there was this one dude who trained there for a while and he eventually learned so much that he came up with a lot of great design ideas himself and now he's currently making his own design in Russia to withstand the crazy winter weather there, he created this really cool sewage system that generates electricity for his home as in Russia you can't depend on the sun and wind alone for power and he was attempting to make a completely off grid kind of home in that location, idk if it's even worth the bad Russia climate to be honest, but sometimes you want to live in these places i guess, there is another dude experimenting with building his earthship in places like Florida which is very humid climate, and he's found that to be quite challenging in comparison to the dessert as with humid places, it's a bit harder to cool one of these in that location. i would prefer the dessert in that case, but on the one hand you can extract water from the air in a humid place, and in Russia you can just use the snow for your water. there are challenges in every location you build these things, but i like the desert one the most, however i have seen maybe one dude who was living in a somewhat desert location but he got snow and rain more often in his location so maybe his was the best because he got plenty of everything he needed.
