ECOWAS refuses to lift Niger sanctions

A series of protests have been held in Niger, as locals demand an end to sanctions imposed by the West African ECOWAS bloc. The trade restrictions have put 2 .3 million people at risk of famine, the UN says. Regional journalist Timothy Obiezu reports on the situation.
