The absolute BEST of the BEST shredding as only he can 35 years ago(!) in front of an INSANELY raucous crowd of over 180K people at Glen Helen Regional Park, in Devore, California; a huge natural amphitheater seated in 500 acres of rolling hills about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, near San Bernardino.
Ed is forever captured in time here on May 29, 1983, emblazoned in a bombastic maelstrom of pure American pop culture brilliance from which all successive generations can be an intimate witness unto. There was and IS none better than Edward Van Halen.

Lord, 80s fashion was silly af
I like Eddie. I wish he had played with Zappa. Maybe he did & I don't know. Steve Vai played with Zappa & kinda reminds me of Eddie's style. I love Zappa's stuff
