It's amazing how men take pride in being utilities. it's really pathetic
After 20 years in uniform I can speak about women in Combat Comm units: they're "equal" until they have to do the work. That's when they disappear into tents to handle administrative duties, when they spontaneously get crippling uterine cramps, when they discover maladies too numerous to disprove, and all the rest. However once the tents are up and the comms are working, they're suddenly and miraculously cured of these maladies, can participate in the after-party and receive the awards the men earned.
Mind you, if PA comes out to take photos for the base paper, suddenly all the women are swinging mallets and putting up camo JUST long enough to get the photos done. Then they disappear again.
This is not surprising for some reason.
