Feminists turn the streets of Madrid purple in Women's day protest

Women’s groups in Spain’s capital, Madrid, took to the streets on Monday to mark the 111th International Women’s Day.

Protestors clad in purple showed up in great numbers to mark the day, which was held under the banner of ‘gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’ and used the hashtag #BreakTheBias to spread their message.
