Fierce clashes erupt in Chile as Santiago marks anniversary of Pinochet coup

Chilean police have clashed with demonstrators in Santiago as the country marked the 49th anniversary of the Pinochet coup. Molotov cocktails and fireworks were thrown at officers, who responded with water cannons.
