Watching this video makes me miss America and I haven't even left. America is too beautiful to leave.
The soviet era and beyond, certainly had a fascination for very, very, long stairs... and very, very, very long paths incorporating them.

Yandex is far more than Uber. They have captured the markets Google failed to capture. They have search engines, news aggregator, cloud disk storage (Yadisk - check it out), money transfers, and much more.
Amex and Discover are not very common. But MA/Visa is used almost everywhere. Amex may be possible if you use it in a bank to get cash but otherwise nobody even knows it exists. I have only had luck with Amex in a hotel but it was in one of the richer EU places.
