Florida man beach trench dig goes spectacularly wrong

A Florida man accidentally became an inverse Moses after a session of trench digging on the beach turned into an uncontrollable torrent and a visit from the police.

The man spent hours digging a trench from the sea to the far end of the beach, which was next to what appeared to be a large canal. Successful in his great work of joining the two bodies of water, he stood back and watched as water began to flow.

It kept flowing.

Eventually, the tiny trench had become a sizable, stampeding river, creating a potentially deadly rip current and completely isolating the two halves of the beach. The police consequently came to put an end to the festivities, except it is unclear exactly how they were able to turn the water off. It’s America, so they probably just shot it.

It's just the wind and the tide and the current silt up the mouths of rivers and the water backs up behind the embankment, until it gets so deep that the river overflows the sand bank and washes it all away - OR someone digs a trench from the river to the sea....

Happens all the time...

Great when you can do it....

Yeah - this is the best fun ever - especially if the water is behind a 5 meter high beach embankment and there are BIG deep wide lakes going back miles...

Fucking Unreal....

Fuck Yeah..... Great Shit.

Thanks Karen - for calling the retarded "Show Stoppers".

Useless Bitch.

Bitch.
