This one was a classic! Now that I've gone Carnivore, I don't believe I'll ever go back.

So long as it can be sustained, meaning they're trying to take away meat products make us eat the bugs, but I suppose if you think about it the bugs are still kind of meat, kind of fucking disgusting meat, but I suppose it is part of the carnivore diet. The problem is you still have to supplement certain vitamins that you aren't getting through the carnivore diet, so other things have to exist in order to maintain that diet, I've been on this day before, and it can be brutal at first, eventually you get used to it, but you can offer forget taking certain supplements for What's missing in the diet, fisherman used to get this issue where they would eat the meat from the fish, I forgot what this sickness is called, but it's because their diet was purely carnivore, and they needed to have something else in their system in order to counteract those issues, nowadays we have those things in the form of supplement, so obviously things are dependent upon each other for that type of eating lifestyle you hate to admit it but it's true.

@KEEPER: Things we can do about these problems include: Buying non-perishable meats and essentials (in those 'emergency kits'), gold/silver to purchase meats and other essentials after SHTF when we can finally farm for essentials without govt harassment, having the guns/ammo to defend the former two, moving to towns with current farmers. I accept that if EatZeBugs happens before the USD collapses that things will look grim for Americans. One way or the other, there's going to be some civil war in the future.

@RightSideOfHistory: true true, but going back to this idea of food, i suppose people could create their own farm system, maybe not so much if your living in the city, but if your living out in the boonies you could raise your own animals to eat and harvest, like you could make your own fishing pools where you raise them, i have seen some people take advantage of doing this, they also use the fish shit as a form of manure and they sell it because it's a great manure subsitute, as well as other animals, yeah yeah i know the government wants to ban using manure over using that manufactured shit from Russia and some shit lol, but again you live out in the boonies, they will likely leave you alone for the most part. but i suppose the threat is always there and they could come for you at any time if they want.

I'd buy a homestead if I could afford it.

Some slightly isolated, desert, that is above the flash flooding areas, has some shelter and a reasonable degree of humidity.... You can extract a ton of water from the air - I''ll show you how...

https://www.engineeringtoolbox.....com/dry-wet-bulb-de ---------- If moisture condenses on a cold bottle taken from the refrigerator the dew-point temperature of the air is above the temperature in the refrigerator.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I'm in Canada so there's no shortage of water. The only downside is any land you can grow food on is limited. Most of province has very thin and rocky topsoil.

@Councilof1: You only need to grow crops... add extra soil, add compost, make a digester for the sewerage - converts it to fertiliser... etc... and start to build up the soil depth and fertility...

@Councilof1: Find some land, do a registry of the "Pros and Cons List" and then buy the land that fits that bill.
