I remember this song suddenly appearing at No 1 out of nowhere on the UK, and NME (New Musical Express) had the headline "WHO the FUCK is terry Jacks. it didn't get to number 1 via sales as songs did in those days? Like your Pop Vid though soloMan.

"Seasons In The Sun" (Terry Jacks), will eventually be changed to, "Seasons With The Son" (King of kings). JMO.

It's all unknown, isn't it. That first step when everything that was liked or disliked, all the proud moments or disappointments, seem to be strangely unimportant. This strikes me as a bit frightening. I suppose that may be the result of finding myself naked and just "me" will be unusual. I don't know what will happen to you or me. Scripture says that if I have done an ounce of good in this life, I will find it there, in what was the 'here-to-fore' unknown.

As much as I've listened to this song, I never thought I'd listen to it while tearing up (sorry, I don't have that British "stiff upper lip", though I tear up privately, as when my older brother [1975] and father [2000] died, and stayed away from the public).
