FSB detain alleged saboteurs in Belgorod
Russia’s Federal Security Service has released footage of two alleged Russian saboteurs who were planning to attack railway tracks in the country’s Belgorod region. Their arrest had previously been reported by the security service, who said the men had planned to target a transport infrastructure facility in the region.
One of the detainees said they had taken an ‘anti-Russian’ position since the start of the Ukraine conflict, and were focusing on train lines used by the Russian military, while the other said they had intended to unscrew and loosen fasteners on the tracks in order to cause a possible derailment.
