In a strange way that looks fun.

Although this is proper "battle gear" with proper weapons, I am quite surprised that people are not coming away with smashed spines, cracked and broken heads, busted ribs etc., especially from the blows with the battle hammers and axes...

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Injuries happen. Even with "safed" weapon's. I was surprised by the use of pollaxe and similar arm's.

@Councilof1: The inertial would carry through the (more or less) penetration resistant layers of felt and chain mail etc.. and break the bones... The pole axes, coming down the side of the helmet and hitting the collar bones as a for instance.... That is totally different to a non cutting sword with a rounded end....

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Even catching that on a helmet would make your head ring.

@Councilof1: The short version - the knock to the head from the swords pommel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi757-7XD94

@Councilof1: The pommel / pummel strike to the head, knocks the stuffing out of the Gnight, and with the axes and hammers, they are putting in heavier and deeper dents into the head space inside the helmet, so me was thinking concussion / cracked / holed / fractured skulls.... They are BIG hammers and axes... Maybe a wooden carpenters mallet at the most.....

@Councilof1: And just the SIZE of the pole axes - that coming down on your head - it could easily cause spinal / neck damage.... THAT is a lot of weight - kind of break your neck kind of a weight.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: That's exactly what they were designed to do. Destroy people in armour.

@Councilof1: I like this chick in the pillow fight - she has a really nice long, straight and vertical nose.... Very hansom. https://cdn.acidcow.com/pics/2....0101115/pillow_fight
