Game Companies' Biggest Screw Up

i think what he's referring to is how that became a common theme or joke or meme after the fact, i see people all the time reference this bear even in other subjects and they do it for the humor factor alone for the memes. i don't really get it because i never touched that 2d side scroller, lol i'm just not into games like that, however i am into RPG's, just not that style per say, i think the game suffered from the mechanics but also the agenda nonsense, but i hear otherwise the story is good outside the woke shit, the choices above all is all of what makes a good RPG instead of like a modern bethesda game where you have no choice except the only choice that's set in stone without a whole lot of diffrence, the game FO4 for an example, it does offer mane multiple endings but they are still quite limited in how the game can be played, for example you can beat the game by factions, but for some reason they excluded out some of the factions from that range of choices, so it's not like you could defeat the institute or the brotherhood via through the gunners faction or the raiders faction, it was just an after thought of poor bethesda choices as each DLC dropped, it's still better in some ways than say skyrim where you can only be the dragonborn and nothing else but it's kind of a mixed bag with other things, the game seems to offer other playthrough options but you can never change that you are this soul survivor guy who's son runs the institute in the story, the only possible way that can be done is through the mods that offer this start as a choice, like i have a mod where you start out as someone who isn't the ss getting out of the vault, it's not the most professional path, but it does offer a slight change in the story to make you not the father of your son who runs the institute, but you are a stranger who found out how to infiltrate the institute and are given the job to run the organization simply because you are a natural born leader and were offered the job by the leader, again it's not perfect but it's what that mod offers as an option to the end result to the story, then i have another mod which starts you out as a synth courser in training, where you already start in the institute as this courser in training and are instantly sent on the mission to reclaim a escaped synth, not much is changed in that mod via dialogue, but it does offer that playstyle as a result and many people already had theories of the ss of being a synth anyway via through the in-game vanilla dialogue. still limiting in choice, but still something that offers more for the player to play as instead of the same person every playthrough.

I haven't tried that game because it's so overwhelming and still in development for everything including mods. Needs another 5-10 years. But can you smash Shadowheart at least? I don't know much about her I could be wrong - She seems like the only attractive female character? A bit of an attitude though? Good spicy tsundere attitude or just annoying? The green chick is not for me as I'm not really a greenskin enjoyer like Chronic. I haven't seen any other female party members? The vampire guy seems super gay so that's odd. I really like the similar older game called Icewind Dale which plays the same as Baldur's 1 and 2. But you get to make a custom party of 1 to 6 characters. No pre-existing NPCs to pick up. Good roleplay party game. For example I did Arthas, Uther, Jaina, Kael'Thas, etc. Custom portrait option. You can do this in Baldur's 1 and 2 I guess but the pre-made party NPCs have questlines. I also enjoy the really old DOS D&D games. I use DOSBOX to play Pool of Radiance sometimes with an awesome mod called Gold Box Companion and save game editor. Dungeon Hack of D&D is a cool 3D survival dungeon crawl game. You get one person and it has random generation everything for each run. More randomness than Diablo 1 and 2. No quests, no NPCs. Just a D&D survival game pre-dating survival sims. I remember it has Medusa enemy boobage which is fun. Good old low res boobage. Good times.
