Global Standards = Lowest Common Denominator of Censorship

American companies keep forcing censorship to be in line with "global standards", and morons keep encouraging this behavior until they find out that "global standards" does not equal "American standards". What "global standards" really means is the country with the harshest censorship policies gets to dictate what everyone else gets to have.
