5:36 - Men are build to "release" many times a week, someone three times a day if you are well rested. Hence, porn is just a visual way to do that. If you didn't have porn, you would just remember attractive women that you see throughout the day, hold onto that image, and use that imagine to do the same thing that you do with porn the same number of times in a day. As long as a male is productive in life, I don't think this is abnormal. Also, since you wouldn't expect an actual female (who would give you the time of day) to provide "on Demand" sex in the same way, most men would still be rubbing one off many times a week: again, this is a normal set of behaviors. Hence, porn isn't the problem just the tool and there is no need to have a gynocentric psychologist pathologize your very essence: fuck them and their Freudian delusions.
Another part of the equation for male sexuality that isn't part of the analysis is that modern women have weaponized interaction with them. Without belaboring the obvious ways in which this has been done and is being done, men have adapted and have done so in a reasonable and game-theoretic way. I'm proud of men and their ability to pivot imperceptively and healthfully. Again, this is a positive development from the male perspective.
As for being shut-ins and not socializing, I think that it is important to understand that socialization can happen over the internet especially for the younger set of men; so, being a shut-in doesn't necessary mean that you anti-social and isolated. For most of my life, I have worked multiple jobs to maintain stable cash-flow and to fund the pursuit of my education, hobbies, or whatever. In a perfect world, It would be nice to work only eight hours a day, to have a short commute, and to have the weekends off which would allow for more time to cultivate long-term friendships with male friends. Of course, we have to work with the reality in which we live and not the one that is a little out of reach...for now. Hence, being flexible, grateful, optimistic, and forward-looking in the presence of one's current circumstances is perfectly normal behavior.
In conclusion, men will be fine and it is everyone else that needs therapy.
