► On (The Racist & Sexist?) Google Manifesto ◄

Recently, Google released a manifesto called "The Google Manifesto" and a lot of programmers went kind of crazy about it.

Google Manifesto, also known as the Google Memo, refers to a controversial anti-affirmative action document sent by former Google engineer James Damore, who argued that the gender disparity in the tech industry could be partially caused by biological differences between men and women, rather than discriminatory hiring practices.

In early August 2017, a software engineer at Google sent an internal document titled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber,” which argued that men may be more driven toward technology industry jobs due to biological differences between men and women. That day, Motherboard[1]reported that the manifest had gone “internally viral.” Shorlty after, Gizmodo[3] published the manifesto

Most people went crazy because this manifesto was totally anti-diversity and it got people really upset about it. Forbes even wrote a full article saying that it reflects a much bigger problem than the ones written there on the manifesto.
